does using facial muscles to put on the appearance of a good infraorbital cause bad eyesight?

since i’ve started looksmaxxing, i’ve utilized my eye muscles to keep an appearance of good undereye support. my actual infras aren’t terribly bad, but i use the same muscles that push the corners of the eyes up while smiling to make up for the deficit.

lining up, i had to get glasses two years ago- about a month after i had began. i knew that actually squinting (and straining the eyes themselves) is bad for eyesight, but im pretty confident that constantly flexing my eye muscles against my eyes has caused them to deteriorate. i just don’t see exactly how. it could just be a trait i ended up with (altgh neither parent has had glasses).

if anyone here is an expert on eyes let me know- i need to know if this is a bad habit. if so, obviously i want to continue, but i have to figure out how to do this without hurting my eyesight

"Flexing the eye muscles" (squinting) cannot meaningfully affect one's eyesight. Probably just coincidence that you ended up with glasses
