Most people I've spoken to seem to think there's nothing good that comes out of war. War is nothing but destruction of human life and utter chaos. I personally think war has the power to bring out the best in humanity.War, while undoubtedly devastating, can inspire acts of benevolence, bravery, sacrifice, and resilience that reveal the true strength of human character. When faced with adversity, people unite and discover a sense of togetherness that is absent during times of peace. In war, people are forced to set aside their selfish interests and prioritize the greater good for their country and the safety of their families .You don't work when there's food on your plate and a roof over your head you work when there's enemy at the gates and people around you are dieing of hunger and disease.
It is during these times a country is motivated to work harder and give their utmost efforts, surpassing their own limitations. War has historically resulted in many significant inventions throughout history, it has also resulted in some of the best literary masterpieces. It gives the young a purpose and something to work towards and the old a reason to live. One of the main reasons why we have become the way we are in the modern era is because we don't have a direction in life. We are the middle children of history. There's no great war, no great depression. People are aimless, lazy and just merely exist dooming their lives away instead of making use of their talents and achieving.
