Does wearing my retainer at night stop forward growth?

Yes, but it’s unlikely you’ll get much more forward growth.

Yeah it can, but depends how fucked up Ur teeth were initially before you had braces, mine were fine so I've never wore my retainers and my teeth are still perfect. If they werent good before then it's better just wearing the retainers.

Hey mate, I just got my braces off as well and I have to wear a removable retainer at night, but I want forward growth and I'm thinking about removing it, my teeth weren't that bad to start with, so have you noticed any change at all after not wearing your retainer? And how long did you wear your retainer for after you got your braces off?

I definitely notice my teeth moving when I don't wear my retainer for a few days. I'm still wearing my retainer and it's been like a year and a half or so. I think you should wear your retainer because your teeth will go back to being messed up and you might have to spend a lot of money as an adult to fix your teeth.

Been wearing one for 2 or more years. It get tight if i dont wear it for like a week
