Ate like 1200 calories a day max and grew to 6'7". I was like 6'7" 140 lbs when I was in high school. Calories will only make you gain weight, not height JFL.

Insulin competes with gh secretion, and more carbs=insulin production. Of course, if you are deficient in other nutrients that can have a negative effect. Less about calories, more about type of food.
