has cheat day today, first time in a while since i was glad i reached a new lowest bf level.

gonna continue cutting some
i was cutting on 2k cals a day

on the cheat day i had 4k cals
if i fast for one day i will still be on track for the weekly caloric intake so i should still lose fat at same speed right?

essentially will 4k cals in one day + one day of fasting lead to the same fat loss as 2k cals a day for 2 days?

If you eat too much, it gets stored as fat, then you have to burn the fat off which is harder.
Think about how it's harder for people to lose weight rather than maintain it.
Once or twice a week cheat meal isn't bad though overall.

yes this i understand ofc i expect to gain fat from todays cheat day. i do cheat day instead of meals since once i start i can’t stop jfl but i only do it once a month instead of a cheat meal once a week.

i’m asking tho, obviously i just return to my normal deficit, but if i regularly cut on 2k cals a day, and on the one cheat day i eat 4k cals, if i fast the next day, and carry on with the 2k cals after that, is it the same fat loss as if i did 2k a day without the cheat day.

so to visualise, would these two week lead to the same fat loss:
week 1: 2k, 2k, 2k, 2k, 2k,2k, 2k (2k cals a day)
week 2: 4k, 0, 2k, 2k 2k, 2k, 2k (a day of 4k, a fast day, then normal cals)

hope that makes sense

i was already on deficit, i see it as a good thing mentally to stick to the diet. i’ll be in a better spot in 4/5 days (even ask bloat is gone and been on deficit for 4 days) since while the bloat drops im getting more fat loss, more than i gained from cheat day by a lot
 
yea it averages out, if you wanna eat rly badly one day then just starve the next day to make up for it

IT doesnt really bloat My face usually stays the same. It’s mostly my stomach. I go on a strict deficit usually during the week.

Especially because your gonna increase your metabolism one day increase your hunger and would have 0 protein the next day would fuck up your glycogen stores your sleep your performance if your training or just your well being overall
Yeah i dont mind if lest say you eat 2500 calories one day then the other 1500 but never fast for more than 6 hours (not including sleep) if you don’t wanna burn out
