Just bare in mind palate widening will also affect your malar position so it wont be as bad as you think

i believe i know what you mean, but i don't think that matters here. the important thing is the distance from the end of the palate (on the side) to the end of the cheekbone, which is what determines how deep the hollow cheek is. and that distance doesn't change.

Extraction also causes the molars to move forward, which means they have less effect on the cheeks, unfortunately orthodontists also move the incisors back. If they had this knowledge and would remove premolars and move the molars forward without retracting the incisors.

Most ppl with MSE develop hollow cheeks because a wide palate means a wide maxilla and wide maxilla means fanned out zygos
