Does widening/expanding maxilla widen the mandible/increase outward gonial flare? Why or why not?

If it widens palate it can make masseters bigger from better chewing capabilities indirectly, it won't change the bone though. And the reason why is because they are two separate bones.

How and why? I've never heard anything about this before.
It is known the maxilla is making your lower jaw more defined and this makes your jaw more defined from the front and your vertex of the gonial angle is changing positively and making your gonions more outwards

Idk tbh lol it just makes sense like why would it happen in the youth but it wouldn’t happen after youth like it makes no sense. and where’s your proof for saying that it happens during the youth only?

I was wrong about that, it does not "flare out", it's position just slightly shifts.
