It can obviously make you look better but only to an extent. Yeah sure Henry Cavil looks also good in a minecraft tshirt and cargo shorts but he looks BETTER in a suit or something stylish and fitted.

Average Joe looks awful in a minecraft shirt and cargo shorts and sure he looks better in a suit / something stylish. But does that mean he will slay or get significant more attention from girls because of his outfit? Obviously no! 0 * 0.3 = is still 0. If your unattractive an stylish outfit wont save you but if you already attractive it can boost your appeal

If you have a good body a nice fitting T-shirt is as good as anything else if you aren't going to a place that you are expected to be dressed up a little. I see females all over tall built HTNs and Chadlites dressed simple like that showing off their build some.
