Do you see how her nose is set back and her paranasal region seems a bit retruded back behind her mouth . Is that a retruded midface possibly covered up by her good cheekbones ?

No, he midface looks perfectly normal.

But her maxilla/mandible projection are dog-level, which might create this illusion of recession (when midface compared to jaws). But I cannot see any recession at all personally
