Literally five minutes ago I was just thinking about how the hell we know other people are really trustworthy, because from what I've learned throughout my life, trust vanishes faster than smoke. With just one misinterpreted action or word, you can lose the complete trust of an individual or even an entire community. Or why do we trust people if in this cruel world the only people who can betray you are those you trust? Do I have to expect something in return if I give someone my complete trust?
