Lack of attention outcasted women usually do anything for crumbs of attention and he is probably good at manipulating women. I knew a guy like this. He wouldn't literally target middle school girls but often would manipulate young 18 year old girls into dating him

well then logically and morally speaking i wouldn't consider it grooming as i do believe that people can consent at younger ages to these things, both males and females, if they are understanding and smart enough

legally speaking, it would still be a crime because nobody is above the law (at least that's what we think) and sure the consent + relationship things will be mitigating factors if he ever got caught. it would still be illegal under law

if both have moral understanding of love and what it means to be in a relationship and there's no proof of abuse/coercion

and when is it grooming?

well age gaps are more weighted when you're a teen

like its disgusting when an 18y.o is with a 16 y.o

but it's fine when a 21y.o is with a 19y.o

sure there are many arguments for and against this and it's always a discussion to have

but I think for MOST people they have a decent understanding once they're 15-16, at least that's when relationships got somewhat more important for me and when i found my current gf
