The dogs instinct isnt to sit down when somebody tells it to. Even if you might say trainers use repetitive behavior with rewards dogs can still learn purely on commands. Everything is conscious to a level
the level on consciousness they're on isn't being conscious, they're domesticated so they have learned to listen and behave when taught
Are dolphins also domesticated? I dont think its in their DNA to beat up turtles for their enjoyment. They do it because they see other dolphins do it and think its hilarious. They also use drugs aswell. Im very firm on the idea that animals are conscient, how enough to ponder about their existence but enough to seek enjoyment/affection and whatnot
no one remembers a single thing from 1-3 years old usually yet every kid acts different. Its the way they've evolved, theyve figured out that the drugs make them feel good, they dont use it specificaly bc of it being a drug. its the same as eating to them

Should have put it in the fridge,i could have boiled itlast night my parents were on vacation so it was just me and my brothers at home. i was otp w some foid hours away trying to ecrack and my dad calls me telling me my dog died so i went outside to check and there she was laying right in front of the door lifeless. skipping forward to today about 30 minutes ago, i went to help bury her and while we were digging my dad caught me taking pictures. he ended up yelling at me talking abt some 'yall grew up w this dog and this is all u can do after she dies ??' and i let out the slightest smile and he got even more mad and told me to just go inside. then my mom started yelling at me too about 'your dad loved that dog the least u can do is be respectful'
