I recently found out about this, but if the studies are right that people were able to correctly identify the right dog and human (owner), does that mean that attractiveness could play a role in that as well? If that's true, it would mean that a certain type of dog breed would be the more selected for by "attractive" people. This could vary in gender as some dogs seem to have more of a prominent wider jawline (male dimorphism), which may not be as prevalent in foids. I have barely looked into this, and I'm not even sure if being attractive would have a correlation with the dog chosen, but one of the ways people identified the dog owners was by the eyes, which obviously vary from attractive to unattractive people.
