Our city is pretty small, the butcher likes him too. He eats €3.80 worth of meat per day, most of which is calf, duck and random animal liver, pretty sure we get some discount with the butcher but idk since I'm not the one paying

You dont hear of the ones where they end up getting attacked, its survival bias mostly. Keeping them as a pet isnt impossible but its super high maintenance, dogs were selectively bred for thousands of years to get to where they are now and be as loyal as they are. Animals like tigers run strongly off instinct and dont give off many signs before an attack although if they do its already too late. Its in short just a ticking time bomb waiting to go off. Owning one is still pretty cool tho, but its only for the super rich.
