Doing bimax without braces

I’m interested to see Andreischev for bimax and genioplasty or chin wing. I have recessed chin and I want longer ramus and defined jaw but most of the posts on here say you need braces. My teeth are already straight I had braces in middle school do I have to get them again? I had a bluepilled ortho who corrected my bite but didn’t give me aesthetics and I stopped wearing my retainer 2 years ago but my teeth are still good

Andreischev does surgery first would anything bad happen if I got bimax and didn’t get braces after?

Unless you literally just need the same amount of linear advancement of both jaws, then you'll probably need braces. I have a good bite, but my surgeon is anterially downgrafting my maxilla and rotating my mandible CCW, so I'll need braces.

To not have braces, the jaws will need to be moved/rotated 1:1. You will probably need braces.

how long do you think, braces make me look so fucking nerdy. If I were to come back to the US and not do braces post op would it be bad for aesthetics

Depends on what movements he's doing. Mine will be around 6 months, before and after surgery. I'm almost 30. It's going to look like garbage. But in the end I am confident it will be worth it.

ask andreishiev you have to send him a ct scan from an ortho and he will let you know if you need braces and if so for how long

thanks bro I’m trying to get to irl chad tier as fast as possible so I hope jaw surgery doesn’t slow me down
