I'm doing a research thread on growth plates and I need to know do taller people have wider knees or joints compared to their shorter counterparts need to know this if there is a coloration between open growth plates and wide joints

isnt this info water? think abt hgh, it quite literally makes everything bigger, facial wise, joint wise, bones, etc.

yh cuz of genes like fgfr3 which limits the size of your growth plates. taller people tend to have less fgfr3 obv

quite literally does btw
??????????? are you fucking stupid?????

IGF-1 is literally not the reason people are taller you fucking idiot

Most people fit within a normal/small range of igf-1 that makes no difference as long as you aren't deficient or supraphysiological

People are taller because of chondrocyte amount and hypertrophy size you cunt

Taller people don't have less Fgfr3 their growth plates are less sensitive to Fgfr3 if that's the case then their frame and their height would grow evenly but that's not the case

didnt say they did
You quite literally responded saying "think of hgh it grows everything" in response to taller people having wider joints than smaller people.

You're quite literally making the implication that taller people have more igf1 which is why their joints are bigger:feelskek:

quite literally quite literally nigger articulate ur fuckign words better.

taller people their growth plates are usually more open than shorter people thus giving them more time to grow, hence more hgh exposure than shorter people.

Horribly misinterpreting this study and your retarded ass didn't even fully read it. This is the issue with this shit forum.

The points they listed for taller people being more prone to cancer is

1. They have more cells. This is literally true because tall people are bigger and take more space which analytically means they have more cells. Hence being prone to cancer.

2. They have more cell divisions. This is true and is directly the reason people are taller, this isn't because of igf-1, this is because of genetic predisoposition to have more cells to match and produce their height. IGF-1 mediates this effect. It has nothing to do with supraphysiological igf-1. IGF-1 is simply the mover of this process.

My rebuttals, you're a retard again that didn't even read it. Stop reading the title you fucking cunty imbecile, the whole point of this ARTICLE (not a fucking study) is to say that this idea is theory-laden. They quite literally agree that it should make sense theoretically but isn't actually true in the world.

None of this is fucking true. Tall people aren't tall because the grow for longer:feelskek::feelskek::feelskek:If anything most tall people grow super fast and stop growing by like 15-16

More hgh exposure doesn't mean you have more hgh you fucking idiot

More cells dose not mean higher risk of cancer if that is the case whales should get get a higher cancer rate then humans but that's not the case

Even then, it's very simple if you wanted to boil it down. Taller people are taller because of a genetic predisposition to have more chondrocytes to proliferate at a time, and the chondrocytes expand a lot more in the hypertrophic phase leaving more lacunae for calcification

High IQ

convo
And to answer your question if I didn't already, no taller people do not necessarily have wider joints

If you was trying to theorise on this to see if you'd be tall don't bother, it's a coping mechanism definitionally bhai

Ok but no I'm not trying to cope I have a subject at 17 165cm that had his bone wrist x-ray check and doc said that it's closed but then grown to 184cm at 24 plus with hard evidence but before you get to excited he hit puberty at 15, and he's parents are 6'4 and 5'7

Ok but for my personal gain what makes me grow taller when your growth is slowing down

I haven't read your screenshots yet but already from seeing wrist xray I know this is stupid. Not trying to be mean.

I just don't understand why people xray their wrists as if humans stand on their wrists?? It means absolutely nothing.

Measure growth plates that actually matter like your knee area (proximal tibia distal femur) Or your spine

Yeah that's why I'm going to do a thread on why x-ray on wirst is cope for height finally someone agrees
