All depends, if you stay in a big city most of them have a policy not to charge anyone who doesnt have paperwork to be here legally. So youd be safe to stay, no one would care that your stuff was expired. Since you know english already youd have a big advantage and you wouldnt attract any attention. If you had a job and a place to stay here you could apply for a green card and get one pretty easily. The main thing is to stay in a city that is helpful, any big city like new york or los angeles or san frsncisco would be the best option.

Yeah thats the only reliable option. I used to live in a small town in virginia with lots of mexican immigrants, and for them it was pretty much impossible to get a green card or citizenship unless they got married to a citizen because no one would help them and the police would be more than happy to arrest them if they didnt have the right paperwork especially because they stick out as a mexican who doesnt know english. But in any big city youd be safe and theyd make it easy for you

I dont think being white or black or mexican would matter as much as if you knew english. It really doesnt matter what you look like, and for some people like chinese or mexicans there is a whole community that speaks their language and would help them. But if you look white, and speak english, you could definitely fit in socially a lot easier but the process to get a green card wouldnt be any easier

No theres a million ways to get a green card. All you need is to get a job or have someone sponsor you. Getting a job is an easy way to a green card. Getting citizenship is super difficult but to get a green card you dont need any skills

Green card allows you to do pretty much anything except work in the government or get welfare or some other stuff that you need to be a citizen for. Green card means you can live here and get a job and go to school and do everything legally, pretty much its like being a citizen except you need to renew it every few years and I dont think you can vote. Other than a few small things, if you have a green card you can do just about anything that a citizen can do

Any big city or area with an international community. Its really easy and straightforward for foreigners in the biggest cities. New york city, los angeles, chicago, san francisco, Seattle, houston, miami, Philadelphia, all would be easy for a foreigner. Lots of cities here are “sanctuary cities” what that means is if you arent a citizen the police cant touch you for not having all the necessary paperwork. But really if you do everything by the book and get a green card any place in the usa is safe, however its way easier to get a job, find a place to live, in new york state, florida, or california because they specifically make it easy for immigrants. If you know fluent english you could get around anywhere no problem except for rural areas
