true, I made a post earlier about this. I need to learn computer programming, it hurts so instead I just found a girl in a local college studying comsi. I've started my plan on getting her to do all ts for me for free

IQ is ur ability to solve general problems under constricted conditions
Which u can slightly change

Sounds like ur referring to intelligence which is much more complicated

I would argue u cant change intelligence
Depends on ur definition of it really

Tell me mvp if there were 2 computers and one could work out any question and the other can work out questions relatively quickly which would u say is more intelligent ?

It depends on what you mean by “intelligent.” Intelligence isn’t a single trait, so the answer changes based on the definition you care about.

Here are the main ways people usually judge it:

1. Raw problem-solving ability

If one computer can eventually solve any question (even if it takes a long time), that suggests:

  • Greater generality
  • Better reasoning depth
  • Fewer limits on what it can understand

Under this definition, that computer is more intelligent, even if it’s slow.

2. Practical intelligence

If the other computer solves most questions quickly, that suggests:

  • Better efficiency
  • Faster decision-making
  • More usefulness in real-world situations

Under this definition, the faster one looks more intelligent, because intelligence is valuable when it can act in time.

3. Human comparison

Humans usually value a mix:

  • A genius who can solve any problem but needs years isn’t very helpful
  • Someone who solves problems fast but hits hard limits isn’t either

So in human terms:

The most intelligent system is usually the one that balances ability and speed.

Bottom line

  • Maximum intelligence → the computer that can solve any question
  • Practical intelligence → the computer that solves problems quickly
  • Best overall → the one that can do both
