Example above is Ravel Morrison (he's not the worst example) but applies to 95% of people playing in U-18 or reserve team.
  1. Play for reserves in a prem team - rub shoulders with some of the best players in the world at training (Rooney, Giggs, Ferdinand)
  2. Start winning U18 leagues and thrashing other teams.
  3. Dream big you are touted as the "next Rooney".
  4. The downfall begins. You get sent out on loan to another club.
  5. Not all hope is lost. It's still a decent team, maybe inab lower league but if you can prove yourself you'll get the nod.
  6. Nothing changes. You are an unused sub at best or play preseason friendlies.
  7. One loan after another you stay unsuccessful.
  8. Club loses patience with you and sells you. Another semi-decent club (Lazio in example above) buys you hoping they've stolen an underappreciated talent.
  9. Same shit happens. Loan after loan. They lose patience and offload you too.
  10. Shit is repeated again and again all the while the parent club gets worse and worse.
  11. After 15 teams and playing in 10+ countries you end up in some unknown league like the India, Thailand or South Africa.
  12. You do a DNA test hoping that you have some heritage in a third world country where you can represent national team.

At the end of the day you should have just quit your dream and got that law or comp sci degree and you would have been happier and more stable.

At least Ravel Morrison play football. For MOST GUY, It's really a massive shame. There were about eight guys in my school (including my brother) who played for our local football team. They were all giga haloed and had top tier gfs too - yes including my brother. He had a German HTB gf. One guy in my school played for Wales-U16. I browsed their instas / Facebook's and all of them except one doesn't even play football. The one that plays football is a Sunday league player lol. Total waste. They fell for dreams and ruined their lives. A couple of them educationmaxxed and have decent jobs. The rest of them rotting in some pub or grocery store. My brother is waitermaxxxing inab restaurant for 10+ years. He actually thought he would be pro... Always used to bully me for how shit I was unlike him. I feel a sense of karma, but feel sorry ngl.

Truth nuke. Statistically speaking as an academy player you are more likely to get hit by a meteor than to actually make it pro and play for a big club

My dream is to go pro in football and I have been told by coaches I've got the potential to but with how blackpilled I am i don't see it happening at all sadly

Standards become bigger each year if your not some genetic freak most likely you wont make it big your gonna train for 15 years just do realize your not gonna make it . Your gonna end with injured body and childhood full of training and camps for nothing.

Obviously try your best. I wouldn't give up. But you should always keep a backup plan. Some people chase their dreams and think nothing beyond that. When they fall, they fall hard with no guardrails in place.

Even that guy who I knew that played for Wales-U16. We always thought he was guaranteed to be pro. Worst case scenario championship if not premier league. He got dumped everywhere. Tried to revive career in Spain and Sweden - failed there too. He can be pro in India or Thailand but what good is that JFL.

Yeah he still has a decent career. But went from next Rooney to unknown nigga.

The ones to watch out for are those people who rot in lower leagues at a young age. They'll get trashed to Sunday league alongside part timers), or have to leave and go abroad in dog shit tier league in the hours world. Pay is probably shit too.

Ravel Morrison prob made six figures ever year at least.

Yep I still give it my all whenever I'm playing but unlike most people I play with it's mainly out of passion not the bluepilled I'm gonna make it pro and be the next yamal thinking. Honestly if I manage to get a sports scholarship out of this and go study computer science or something ai related I will be satisfied more than anything

yeah nothing will come out of amateur football, pro teams just assume they don't know shit about football iq and don't even bother scouting

imo if you still can't get signed by big academies at 16, it's better to take the hint and focus on something else

If you were lobotomized you would have the same impact as you do now.

everyone knows. there's a reason the teach drills it into your head that exams will decide your entire future(not entirely but it's good to scare the kids.) the reality is that we need failures else this shithole doesn't work. so let them go for their dreams hell they might even achieve them.

It's hard to make money no matter the industry.

If you actually were in the league and had a chance like that guy I wouldn't have given up either because a good money making career like Law or Doctor or IT DOES NOT BUY A SOCIAL LIFE like soccer does.

Yeah Ravel Morrison isn't the best example. He is a good case of 'next Ronaldo/Messi etc' to a complete nobody.

However this guy is definitely earning six figures throughout his career. Even today in the second league of UAE he is probably earning megabucks compared to an average Joe. He would have been earning £28k as a bricklayer in Manchester.

If you make it professionally and you get paid to kick a ball then you have made it.

Have you done trials ? Most coaches know what they’re talking about so it’s not out of the realm of possibility.

Then again, I remember at school, an U-18 from Chelsea came and played with the best in our school and the difference in talent was astronomical . It’s impossible to understand unless you’ve been around those people.

Lol, there was this famous fake footballer - Carlos Kaiser, who scammed his way into several high profile clubs, he was always a backup, he never played once, but was paid handsomely, he lived like a king, hanged out with other footballers, celebrities, he partied all the time, etc., now that's the ideal life -all the benefits of being a footballer, but without having to do the actual work.

Absolutely you're 100% correct. He is actually a hard worker + very consistent. But because shitty education and career my mother sees him as the bad apple. Shes unapologetic about it. She is as brutal as it can be.

Recently she's even started to come for me because my sister is on £80k, living at home and no expenses.

She needs to zoom out and realise average curry in the UK (excluding Indians who are high achievers) is the LOWEST paid and on like £23k. Something like 15% of them are NEET or claiming benefits.
