I got a new whey protein powder in mid July. It was a 5.5 lbs of MyProtein Salted Caramel. Right after that I began getting terrible breakout. It was two or three terrible cystic pimples every single week. DONT EAT THAT SHIT.

why not just eat meat lmao

Because I'm already eating a lot and a liquid source of protein would save time and space in the stomach.

Lol Wtf? I have been on whey protien for a month and I didn't even get a single acne

Is it whey isolate? Isolate has significantly less lactose content

ive been on whey protein for 3 years and ive never got acne from it

maybe its the milk that causes it

It might differ individually but I find that diet has little to do with acne. I tried eating clean + drinking water only yet my acne still popped out as frequently as the time where I chocolatemaxxed and junkfoodmaxxed. After my accutane course I’ve never got significant breakout again.

I hate every protein powder after using them for 6-7 years...straight shit. Even the ones that are supposed to taste good..all taste exactly the same to me. Can’t do it anymore.

I just make the mix into pancakes with an egg and flood it with syrup these days

I'm switching to pea/rice protein powder.

I've had no problems. Just buy some whey with less added sugar and stuff.

Consumed whey in all its forms for many years, never gave me acne.

How is that lucky? If it was associated with diet all I needed would be adjusting what I ate. In my case I had to take accutane for 6 months with side effects like dizziness, exhaustion, low libido and dry skin /lips.

In the long term (assuming you can now eat whatever you want) you're still better off.
