First, while i was on them, they only took my productivity and energy away while barely helping with my depression.

Now that im off them, the withdrawal was been hell, i feel exhausted 24/7, have awful headaches, head zaps and nausea.

Never do it, there’s way better options i just didn’t know that when i started

Fix the depression and you may be able to use stimulants without abusing them. For me stimulants never had any appeal for abuse but everybody is different in what drug they may be weak for.

I think it is superior in efficacy over methylphenidate but it weirdly makes me way more allergic to chemicals, smells and shit etc.. so I am stuck with using MPH. Well I didn't use Adderall but I used dextroamphetamine 70 mg "Vyvanse" + 10-20 mg IR d-amph daily. That equals like 30-40 mg d-amph daily circa. It is more neurotoxic though so of course MPH is the "healthier" alternative. I take selegiline too it helps both boost stims + reduce excessive dopamine neurotoxicity.

Yes technically dextroamphetamine is what is more neurotoxic, Adderall is 25% levo-amphetamine which only releases noradrenaline and is hardly much neurotoxic, rest is 75% dextroamphetamine. So technically 20 mg d-amph is more neurotoxic than 20 mg Adderall. It is the VMAT2 blockade + massive dopamine release that primarily makes (dextro-)amphetamine neurotoxic.

Selegiline is a MAO-B inhibitor that prevents MAO-B from breaking down dopamine increasing both dopamine levels but also preventing neurotoxic byproducts from being formed. It is also a CAE(Catecholaminergic Activity Enhancer) which has mild stimulant and neuroprotective effects of itself, on top of inhibiting MAO-B. Good nootropic and quality of life and anti-aging drug too. I have been on it for 7 1/2+ years. It is pretty benign/harmless IMO.
