Muscles need 48 hrs to recover optimally and doing too much volume on each day may cause the muscle to actually become less big compared to adequate volume

Yes, I can see it on myself. I did hit the gym on Monday and my lat still hurts to a point where I could not even train triceps because I would automatically hit the lat. Over for nattycels.

shoulders have a similar fiber distribution, they're slow twitch dominant just like the calves and forearms.

that being said, rather than 'spamming' sets regularly, for me they seem to respond well to doing a lot of volume at once instead.

I think that’s a lot different from doing them every other day, your choice is more high volume one day with adequate rest for literally a week

How’ve they been bro? I’ve been getting a lot of male gaze and compliments from guys ever since i started wearing wifebeaters and I chalk it up to doing shoulders more frequently but I’m tryna do this as efficient as possible

They’ve certainly gained strength. I’m not sure how much size tho. I’be been doing 100 reps a day for maybe a month now (arbitrary guess)

anywhere from 8-16 sets a week for one muscle works. The amt of sets you do per week for each muscle can differ a lot. For example, Lateral raises anymore than 10 sets a week is too much, while 12-14 sets of chest per week will still give you great growth
 
Lol it still applies to non natties. If u want to ‘spam’ a muscle, at least train it every other day not daily

Completely agree. Any time I hear somebody advocating spamming a bodypart, Ik they have very little experience with gymcelling and results to show.

Progressive overload is everything for muscle growth and when you spam a bodypart with ridiculous volume you hinder that process because you cant recover enough to actually consistently add weight and reps workout to workout.

When you actually train hard and legitimately push to failure, you physically cant train with high volume. You don’t need that much volume to grow exceptionally when you train hard. Anywhere from 6-15 sets to failure/bodypart/week works best from my experience. Up to 15 for back, chest, side delts. As low as 6 for arms, hamstrings

Your body isn't static. It becomes adjusted to the stress you apply after a while. I know this because I do full-body workouts 6 times a week and run 5km every day. If you lack the will to work out relentlessly while staying natty, just beware that you'll stay DYEL for a few years.
