This post is going to sound condescending but I'm just giving people (especially teenagers) some perspective. I know for a fact it's going to get clowned but if even a few people gain something from it I don't mind, you shouldn't care about your reputation online btw.

If you use this site regularly you're probably at a low point in your life and don't have much of a social life, as many people were during peak quarantine.

What you should remember when browsing this site is that most users, and people in general are clueless. They'll say what comes to their mind, whatever might get the most upvotes, whatever will help them fit in, not necessarily what's true. For people who take things at face value, they'll seriously believe the (possibly fake) anecdotes and sometimes ridiculous opinions everyone shares about the blackpill, relationships, life, etc. which only get dispelled when you actually go out and experience things.

Of course looks matter, but that really isn't some hidden truth. Literally 99% of "normies" openly talk about things that people on this site believe to be a well-kept secret.

Really? In my experience genetics are rarely - if ever - talked about by my NT friends. Usually its like football etc. Granted, blackpill / incel culture is going more mainstream recently among younger zoomers.

When I was younger the only thing I remember about looks was people saying I was good looking, but that was mainly just like 1 off compliments, not a subject of discussion.

this is me rn. I've gathered all the info I needed, know what surgeries to get but now it's just excessive scrolling and I have new surgeries I suddenly need to get. I was a bddcel even before joining this board, glad I'll be in therapy in a few months.

Yes, I've had NT / normal friends who've said they're not drunk enough for x conversation or that we can only have a deep conversation when they're mildly drunk. I'm not sure why that is, maybe I overshare, but then how do you get anywhere otherwise.

I guess this is why looks are so important if you're autistic, as people are more likely to be accepting / open to new ideas if it's said from someone who's attractive vs some LTN.
