Don’t think a girl has ever looked at me before, am I just not good looking enough?

I’m 5’10 22 years old and just recently got into looksmaxing. Always been curious why girls never look at me and kinda hurts me tbh, like not once in my life maybe when I was 8 years younger i had like 1 girl. My face has changed a lot since then as well. For the last 5-6 years not once has a girl looked at me. Am I just chopped? Told my mom this and she told me you have to be confidence and that people can sense ur not confident when ur walking or something lol.
