The dynamis of every kind of soul has to do with some body which is different from the so-called "elements" and more divine than they are. And as the souls differ from one another in the scale of value, so does that substance differ. For the semen of all (living entities) contains within itself that which causes it to be fertile - what is known as "(vital) heat". This, however, is not fire nor a fire-like power, but the pneuma which is enclosed within the semen or foam-like stuff, and the nature which is in the pneuma ; and this nature is analogous to the nature of the element of the stars
