It's not weird when you look at what humans are as a species, we are highly communal. Theres plenty of creatures that live most of their lives entirely alone, meanwhile extreme isolation in a human is considered either a sign or cause of mental illness.. We are not even that individualistic as a species, if we were then we'd be constantly killing eachother and wandering the wild completely alone like so many other animals do and only interacting during a mating season. Its literally impossible for civilisation to exist unless a large amount of the population is highly conforming and basically the same person
