this may be a common thing here, but i find i just can't think of anything to say to 99% of people. I find myself just repeating phrases to people just for the sake of having a conversation Or revealing sensitive information about myself, or other people just to get over the state of awkwardness. I may type a lot on here, but lol in real life i have absolutely nothing to say to people.

There is no common ground, or common interest in ideas because they are a little controversial. I once spoke to a close friend about my theories of how people are and trying to read people in real life. He had nothing to really say, or challenge about my opinion. I found that I can be talkative at work because I always have to leave to do work every 5 minutes.

But the moment i leave the workplace to chill with people i have nothing to say to them. is it just that they are uncapable of deep conversation? or I just haven't teased it our of them.

This is the only place, and lukism where people actually know me on a deep level. Maybe its just he anonymity? or fear of rejection on my part? i don't know.

Normies are all over the place in convos, you can talk about anything as long as you aren't too strong with your opinions. Ask questions and listen more than you speak. Be interested if you aren;t interesting.

I feel like anything I say is either a) painfully cliche and uninteresting eg weather or b) extremely niche so the other person will have no interest

topics that are a middle ground get exhausted quickly

I love people that can always steer a conversation into something fun but they are very rare in my experience
