Double jaw or surgery reccondmendation?

I am seriously thinking about getting double jaw surgery and wanted to get your opinions. My frontal profile is ok, but my lateral profile is lacking projection. I want to ask my dentist if he has any good surgeons that he can refer me to the orthodontist. What's the best way to start the conversation, such as "Do you think I am a good candidate for orthognathic surgery and an orthodontic/surgical consult" I welcome any comments or input from those who have experience with this process.

no clue. my next dentist appointment is in January. I live in Virginia, USA.

I don’t know how insurance works but I would never take the risk of going with a bluepilled surgeon for double jaw surgery. Chances are the aesthetic outcome won’t be as good
