If youre getting it insured then its just a gamble if the surgeon is willing to do any real forward growth at all.
A lot of them are just going to match your bite to check a box

So what you can do if youre paying out of pocket is look for a surgeon that is willing to do real advancement and dont give up until you do so.
every medical surgeon is trained to fix the function of your jaw and not the look

Sure, but most public surgeons are limited and cannot perform more aggressive advancements unless you have sleep apnea. If you want the most out of bimax, just go to a skilled private surgeon

Is it really a gamble if you can get a plan from them before committing and see the movements? I’m really torn between trying to get it under insurance and just saving up 30k

That’s my thinking, I guess I’m just kind of paranoid they might say one thing but once you’re on the table go full bluepill mode.

they dont know youre blackpilled bro and they wont change their plans

after youve confirmed the surgery you can just tell them your concern for your looks and how it will change your looks. The surgeon will logically talk iwth you about htis

Do you think it’s a bad idea to to talk to them about aesthetics at the first consultations, or should you focus more on “functional” or whatever bs and then afterwards talk about aesthetics

I think its a bad idea if you ask about aestethics the first time yeah
after they suggest you might need surgery. just ask what impact that would have on your face
