I'm already an Engineering major is it worth it to also major in Finance later on after I graduate in 2 years?

I need someone who majors in Finance or Business to tell me if what you learn is applicable in a practical real world situations and actually gives you an edge in regards of moneymaxxing ?

and is what you learn can be learned outside of college as in self studying without a degree ?

a typical finance or economics degree will not give you the skills or experience to effectively trade. however it can help you obtain a decent salary job although engineering can already do the same. if diy trading is your main reason then i wouldn't waste my time.

Not trading rather financial literacy as I want later on to start my own company which is related to my main field
