Its simple, you make a smaller cut and more plates at the nasal base. But this can be risky if to much posterior downgraft and esp without bone graft(posterior plate makes it more stable obv). This can make it so the bone dont get as much bone density and doesnt get properly bonefied at the back. It has happpend to many alfaro patients. And ram uses kinda same method but smaller movements. Having less bone there and less re growth is hard to determine what the consequences would be. Worth thinking about
