Today I found that the reason I have downward growth and not a downswung mandible thankfully was because of my shitty chewing habits, regarding that I have a couple questions.

1. Can downward growth make your jaw look more narrow then it actually is, and if so can looking up a little to adjust your mandibular plane angle show a good representation of what it would look like with good rotation? Because my chin points downward and not forwards.

2. Should I train masseters? I Have high set zygos with good masseter insertions.

1) yea it can make your jaw look narrower, since the mandible rotates downward and back, which reduces the apparent width.
slightly raising your head can help slightly but its still easy to notice if its bad enough

2) yea, i dont see a reason you shouldnt

thanks and about raising your head slightly, i dont mean it to walk around like that to fraud a proper rotation, i mean doing it just to see if your jaw is good or not, would doing that be an accurate representation? also thanks a lot dude

oh sorry i skimmed through

but not really, looking down lowers the mandibular plane angle visually, but it is just a change in head posture and not a true rotation of the mandible.
