He charges like 70k for foreigners because he uses expensive ass custom plates which Australian insurance covers.
Is his dogmaxing while bimax myth or fact?

doesn’t his famous IMDO surgery widen the jaw as well?

Sort of, you’re going to need some sort of orbital rim/zygoma augmentation because youre upper maxilla is going to look gigarecessed compared to the chad jaw he will give you.

I don’t believe in this dogmaxing sentiment, if you require a large jaw advancement for optimal lower third it’s obvious you’ll also need some sort of augmentation to fix the rest of the recession in your face. You can fix it either with implants or an osteotomy.

Just email him rn, what’s the point in waiting he will give you a chad lower third. And didn’t you already get orthodontics done previously? You’ll probably only have to wait a few months for surgery if your occlusion is good

What do you think, how many mm of recession is too big to advance with bimax?

Paul C has done 1.2cm jaw advancement and 1 cm chin advancement.
I don’t know what the upper limit is but I believe he’s advanced up to 2 cm.

If you’re Australian go with Paul C, if not look around for good aesthetics focused surgeons.

That advancement is otherwordlly, you could send almost everyone to Paul and he'd bolt them a chad jaw on. Nice chad factory

This is a great comment. Can I send you a DM to ask some questions about this augmentation to the fix the rest of the recession? The remaining recession looks terrible. Its almost as if all the aesthetic benefit of the Lefort is undone by the, now existing, weakness in the upper face

this isnt new

he just uses custom guide plates and custom titanium plates that enables far more advancement

I think it's a common technique that any good surgeon uses. I've seen cases from pary and raffaini that had jaw widening

He told me 70 to 100k, so I think 100k is more realistic.

Exactly. Except the Italian surgeons are actually more careful and won’t do jaw widening if it makes things unstable. Coceancig just does whatever he wants and your health be damned, hence people leave negative reviews about jaw pain for the rest of their lives.

His answer is always “pay me for a consult”. Plus scans + planning. Then he will tell you.

He probably will do it, no problem. But I’d get a second opinion.

Check out this case from Pary. He did quite a large amount of widening and the girl ascended hard. She didn't have any lasting complications from it, just a tough few weeks post op.

I’m might have to work for it 70k is much but not impossible

It’s not worth the 70k you could get similar results with other surgeons

Insane difference

What happens if you get clocked in the face after surgery? Of course not immediately, say 5 years down the road. Has the bone healed by that point or will it never be the same again?
