Josh Peck and Drake Bell were never Chads.

Both were HTN at best, but fame halo (and musician halo in Bell's case) carried them, plus standards were lower back then anyway because social media was in its infancy and generally not relevant.

I kind of agree.

A part of me wanted to see Drake grow into that in real life but in actuality his career kinda suffered and Josh had the money and connections to get ahead. It's almost bizarre to see.

You're way older than me it seems, I used to watch Drake and Josh back in 2008 on Nickolodeon re-runs I think and I was only 5 to 6 years old then.

Don't know if these are the rose-tinted glasses speaking or the fact that I'm a full-blown adult now but modern "young teen" shows are just not the same or as funny as Drake and Josh.
