Since HS ended I've found that my sleep has taken on a new quality. My dreams are much longer and substantially more vivid, and I am way more reluctant to leave them behind when I wake up. I've inadvertently slept in till 10 or 11 AM many times because I kept waking up and wanting to go back to my dreams. Sometimes even in the middle of the day I'll just lay down in bed and enter a half-asleep trance, simultaneously dreaming and roughly conscious of my surroundings at the same time (and no it's not a daydream I know the difference I'm not retarded).
I sleep 2 - 3 hours longer than I used to and wake up fucking exhausted every morning which I think is connected to how long and vivid my dreams have gotten. Seems like my brain is automatically expending energy on just creating pleasing hallucinations to give itself a break from reality.
Any of you got any similar experiences?
