dreams are fake - they don't actually exist

why has everyone been fooled into thinking dreams are real things? it's just our confused brains making shit up after resting for the night. we never actually experienced the dream - but our brain thinks that we did retroactively.

but muh electrical activity and mri scans. I'm not denying that our brains are active during sleep. and clearly the retroactively implanted memories will match up with the areas and emotions of the brain activated during sleep - they are the basis for the creation of these fake stories afterall

also no one cares about anyone else's dreams they are legit the least interesting things imaginable
