buy bone in roasts or whole chicken (cheaper anyway)

cook and eat meat

take bone

put in pot with water

boil

drink broth

voila cheap and efficient collagen supplement without uncertainty with sourcing PLUS added mineral/nutrient content not in collagen isolate

jello properly made is actually superfood btw

is your post above how you make gelatin
nah

broth made with bones/connective tissue will have high amounts of gelatin/collagen/glycine/etc in it but it has a bunch of other shit too which makes it superior to pure gelatin or collagen supplementation

if you want str8 gelatin like for jello you can just buy that shit from the sto

doesn't matter as long as it isn't jello since the glycine and protein content isn't really significant, it's mostly just filled with thickening agents and a minuscule amount of glycine

The body synthesizes collagen with sufficient amino acid intake naturally.

the thing is, many people seldomly consume collagen, instead they consume muscle meats leading to an unbalanced amino acid profile high in tryptophan, and it being one of the major culprits in inflammation

I don't, and others don't have to either.

My first comment in this thread.
And I refuted that by explaining how many people have unbalanced amino acids that can be detrimental due to lack of gelatin/skin intake

Which can be addressed with sufficient amino acid intake.

Or other sources of amino acids.
Gelatine is one of the few exceptional sources with protein and low levels of tryptophan. Other sources are either stress causing or have undescribable ratios.

Gelatin is not necessary to have a balanced essential amino acid profile.

HOMOcysteine must remain balanced

we must drink blood and make bone broth

Too much iron in blood
iron is fine tbh

too much iron is a meme problem, esp if you dont have rare genetics like risk fro hemochromatosis or whatever

just get cut now and then and bleed or use leeches :chad:

too much iron is a meme problem,
It really isn't, tons of people have too much iron on their blood caused by iron enriched foods.

ive eaten two+ pounds of red meat a day for like four years and my iron is normal range and I have no problems
Because the iron RDA range is inaccurate and incorrect.
