Drinking water

So I drink like a lot of water at once and my face almost instantly noticeably slims down, but I just have a dry mouth after. Anyone know why this happens?

Because water is a solvent. We can't absorb it. When it enters in your mouth it dissolves the mucus you have around your mouth and makes it dry.
