Has anyone tried using a small camera drone ( sub 250g to get around usage laws) for taking photos of themselves for online dating?

I’ve never used one so I’m not sure how difficult it would be to get good photos. Obviously the lens distortion will not be great as they use 20-25mm focal length wide angle cameras. But the resolution is decent and they are apparently well stabilised and use face tracking.

I’m considering getting one as I doubt I will ever have any friends to take my photos. No point looksmaxing if you can only take selfies (unless you’re going from chadlite to Chad jfl)

yes but that is supposed to go unnoticed...
how you are going to excuse using a drone for pics?

How is anyone going to tell if it was a drone holding the camera or a person? It’s just like using a tripod but way more convenient.

How it's more convenient than a cheap tripod?

I think you can position it then set it to hover/track, and some of them support gesture commands for photo.

I can’t believe no one has tried it yet.

In my experience using tripods you rarely have the correct space or terrain to set them up.

What kind of photos do you want to take, that you can't using a tripod, where do you want to take them, can you show some examples?

Hiking mainly, usually the trails are narrow and ground is very sloped/uneven for tripod.

A cheap tripod can’t track your face either so setup will be a lot more difficult. Cost isn’t really an issue for me as long as it’s a one-off but if I’m crashing drones it’s going to end up expensive fast.

Seems like a lot of effort for gaining almost nothing... I doubt you'll have more success in online dating with drone photos taken while hiking, your face is what ultimately determines your attractiveness to the girls, not photographic gimmicks - which are so common these days, that they aren't special anymore.

It’s just meant to be a slightly better alternative to selfies. Do you think there’s no longer an appreciable difference between using selfies and non-selfie photos?

This whole endeavour of looksmaxing is a lot of effort for gaining almost nothing, to be honest. Anything that can give even the tiniest advantage is worth it

jfl this is a new one
