Title. Are droopy lower eyelids caused by recessed infraorbital rims? Is lower lid retraction really a cover-up for what is actually just a lack of bone?

if ur young than its the bone if ur old its might be both bone and the eyelids

what the fuck are you talking about? when you say eyelid are you talking about a lack of fat in the area?

Yes usually due to recessed or rounded infras but can also be a soft tissue problem. It just depends thehandcel

Depends. Many people are quick to diagnose a person as needing infraorbital rim implants when the problem can be caused by a lack of fat in the region too. Look at your side profile to see.

Yea, if there's bone that protrudes past your eyeball likely it's an issue with fat in the region

You can't have both of those things at the same time

r u fr? im pretty sure asians have forward grown zygos, idk how their infras are tbh but im assuming recessed due to buggy eyes and overall flat maxilla. do you know how forward grown asian infras are?

If it’s congenital, it’s lack of bone growth. If it’s hormonal, eyes are too big. If it’s aging, canthal tendon laxity. Fat pad loss not as much for drooping lower lid but for upper lid.
