Drug caused massive weight gain

I take Olanzapine for depression and insomnia and I gained something like 25 pounds in 3 weeks. I was skinny anyway so this actually was a good thing lol. Just be careful guys, antipsychotics can do this jfl

Unless you were dehydrated and just started lifting almost all the weight you just gained is fat. It is never good to gain weight that fast.

Even dehydrated with gyming you would have gained like 15lbs of fat mass still.

It's expected with this medication. Antipsychotic for depression and insomnia seems to be a really weird choice, who thought it's a good idea? That class of drugs should be avoided unless there is no other way.
