I once ended up in the hospital for punching the door came home half drunk after long day. My mum was stood in the dark waiting for me to come. I was startled when I switched on the light and immediately launched a punch in her direction as a reflex.

For reference I am 6'2 and was at that time weighted 90 kilos and was a new gymcel. I would have probably sent her to the hospital if it landed but I was drunk and didn't have a proper balance so overcommitted and fired in the wrong direction punching the thick teak wood door with full force. I made a huge dent into the door but broke 2 of my knuckles and had to be rushed to the hospital at 2 am in the midnight. Was a minor injury so I was given a discharge the next day and recovered within a week.
