Dry lips on tretinoin?

Are dry lips a common side effect of tretinoin? Ive noticed them being very dry lately despite me avoiding my lips completely when applying it.

This isn't anything terrible as I have lots of lip chap so they're fine but I've never heard about getting dry lips on tret, obviously isotret but I was never told about the dry lips and I'm curious if this is a normal reaction or if I'm maybe fucking something up and getting some on my lips somehow.

Essentially my question is just if tret dries your lips when applied correctly or if I'm just getting some on my lips by accident when I apply.

yeah my lips sometimes come dry when I use taz. I don't even apply it on my lips. I just use vaseline on them

Yes bro, a google search would've answered this, it's completely normal to get dry lips when you're on a retinoid, just if you really have a problem with it the most you can do is to use vaseline to make a barrier around your mouth/lips so that pathway isn't viable.
