drying hair slightly or completely

so ive got a question basically when im done washing my hair im drying them with a towel and my question is: is it better to dry them till they are almost completely dry just slightly wet.
or is it better to just slightly dry them just to stop water falling from them yk just a little bit of drying with a towel.
i dont mean it in the way which will look better i am asking cause i want to know which will destroy my hair less

Use an old t-shirt to scrunch your hair until its damp and then do whatever fucking products you use
