Is overly oily skin a result of skin being too dry? In theory wouldn't your face get absurdly oily if it's overly dry because your body is trying to make it less dry

That's better than overly oily skin like I have tbh. It's like a thick 2 inch layer of oil all over my face 24/7 & the acne is terrible because of this. Rip youthful skin, I will be left with acne scars once the acnereaper moves on to his next victim and is done with me
