Well first of all, I agree that drawing the line is difficult.


Like, if they told you your son WOULD be born but that his lungs would inevitably fail after 3 months, leading to an extremely painful and certain death that you'd have to see with your own eyes, would you still want him to be born and live his 3 months?


On the other hand, you can very easily go to the opposite extreme and say: "ok, if we can abort those with down's, I wanna abort my son who will grow to be only 5'10. For every 2 inches a man loses from his height his chances of suicide rise by 9%, so by doing this I save him from killing himself"
