my school hosts a "fest" every year n shit and it has contests, which winning or scoring in a contest merits extra points for your grade. One of these contests include problem-solving using computer science.
The contest is in-person.
So my bros and i get to the venue n we all find our spots. after a while the contest starts and everyone gets to coding n shit. After a while, this retard of a freshman, beside me, decides to use AI (which is prohibited no shit) to solve a "hard" difficulty question (1/20 people solved correctly btw), and gets obnoxiously loud n shit "yoo how did that work" "just typing shit" "no wayy". At that time i was focused on the problems and did not know what he did but just wanted to tell him to shut the fuck up
(but unfortunately i didnt). The facilitator, hearing the commotion, decides to go up to him and sees him close a tab and have a full solution(clearly looks generated) that he couldnt possibly solve. The facilitator pressures him to fucking tell (since he was just ignoring the question and replying with "uhh") where he got the code and he eventually says "AI". "Do you know the consequences of doing this right?" "yes sir" "Please leave the room". Later, some of my other friends told me they saw a white kid crying outside the venue
If this nigga just shut his ass up he'd probably get away with it but he decided to be a little retard. My friends told me after the comp that the kid was known to be talkative and loud. After the competition, my bros, the facilitator, and I had a laugh about it. Later I saw his story "just to get out of the contest room" implying he really didnt care but im sure this niggas copingsince this shit is definitely going on his record and hes probably gonna be fucked for the rest of his time at this school since hes on a scholarship.
