for those which may be searching 4 this in future, using approx. 10mg/day for a few months caused a solid shed during the first couple months or so. this subsided and i hv general, expected natural shedding for my hair length as of now. no other symptoms noted; facial hair grows at no noticeably diff rate. i am using 2.5mg now. this is not due to any reason bar preserving my powder and capsules- if i notice i need more, i will take more . i hv used 1mg fin before for nearly a year or so n i found it lacklustre n unimpressive. i did not notice shedding on fin, in retrospect, considering my dut shed.

i wil bookmark this n update w changes n their causes, albeit likely far n wide

yes. at my right temple, i had perhaps 5mm lost ground last year w/ small vellus hair apparent. they now blend in w/ the rest of my hair in all properties bar length.

i was actually on fin at that time^ if my memory serves well. i lost the ground years ago n then fin seemingly stopped it worsening at such a gradient; dut nuked scalp sufficiently 4 regrowth.

to all reading, do not bluepill in any endeavour. nuke dht to the ground.

oh wow you got corner regrowth on fin alone? That is top 1% hyper responder stuff ngl. Any changes on your crown/overall scalp density? It is a lot harder to notice though unless you had very thin hair to begin with.

no. take a look at the msg above. ive been on dut for over a year at varying doses. i documented the saturating months, as that is the key concern for shedding / symptoms.

crown i never had issues with 2 begin with. density appears 2 hv remained the same too. the temples r theoretically harder to get regrowth on anyway.

serum dht is already nuked at low doses, so increasing the dose wont cause any additional symptoms. you end up w equal serum suppression and more scalp suppression.
