Had dut and minox injected into my scalp and have been taking 0.25 mg dut + vitamins/day for about two weeks to try and stop my NW2 hairline from worsening. Thought I'd be alright since my DHT has always been pretty high, but I'm worried that it might give me ED or impact my development. Should I quit now or are the side effects not common enough for me to worry? Barely 17 years old btw :trepidation:

are you done with puberty? I'd just stick with fin and minox for now, no need to go full blown on this thing yet if you're not.

I take dut once a week and fin everyday plus minoxidil. No side effect at all, nothing. People who get sides from fin/dut are mostly giga soys with the hormonal profile of a prepubescent little girl. DHT is indeed a trash hormone, once you're done with puberty ofc.

No idea if I'm done or not. I haven't grown an inch the past few months so probably. Any way to be sure? Last time I got my blood tested I had 819pg/mL DHT, 913ng/dL total test and 19,13ng/dL free test, but I have no significant dymorphism on my facial bones, just a wide frame and a fuck ton of body hair.

nigga going on dut at 17 wtf are you doing? i hope it's a troll post. you shouldn't touch 5ar inhibitors until you're completely done with puberty

"supresses 40% of DHT" and "may cause T to aromatize into E" great I have to choose between the norwood reaper or turning into a tranny :lul:

probably going to take a blood test and quit dut for now, at least until I'm sure my development is done. Hope I'm not completely fucked since I've only been on it for two weeks.

Im no expert but personally I consider being able to grow a beard and body hair as a good rule of thumb to know that. It was the last thing that changed for me once I was done with it.

as for fin, honestly I think it's pretty safe to take by your age, I mean fin barely blocks that much dht and it's mostly type 2 enzyme which is specifically in your scalp and prostate iirc.

Norwood 2 at 17 holy fuck it’s done

Yes, except gyno and high bf since before I started. Skin has massively improved after I started taking collagen though.

Did you do blood tests for Estridol and Prolactin?

i think u have too much Estradiol from shit diet, lifestyle, stress and ur body is overcomepnsating via producing a lot of DHT to counteract the Estrogenicity

Haven't. Will do as soon as possible.

I have worked out almost every day and eaten a diet consisting basically of varied meat, (especially red meat), animal fat, eggs, root vegetables and dairy once in a while for the past 4 years. Maybe I got fucked over by hormones from the meat and dairy or something.

Overexertion will fuck u up.
Do you have lethargy if you do not exercise, or after you eat a meal?
varied meat, (especially red meat), animal fat, eggs, root vegetables and dairy once in a while for the past 4 years.
That will cover most mineral and a lot of Vitamin needs, but youre missing a few things like Calcium and Copper, fixing a deficiency of both is very protective against balding because of its hormonal implications.

Also, are you on a keto diet? I would increase Carbohydrate intake. I would eat some well-boiled potatoes in the morning
boiled for 1.5 hours minimum. Of course u probably don't have time, what I do is boil them the evening before, and then wrap the pot up in a jacket or two enough towels and then it's warm until the morning. You can't let starch (Starch is Rice, Potatoes, Wheat, etc...) cool down otherwise it forms Resistant Starch and that can mess up your digestion and induce bacterial overgrowth in the upper digestive system, which is supposed to be sterile. Your body is constantly trying to keep your upper digestive system sterile, and overgrowth leads to liver damage and is involved in the pathologies of many diseases
, because Starch fills up Liver Glycogen
your body stores excess Glucose in the Liver as Glycogen, when your Liver stores are full it converts excess Glycogen into fat. Many people overestimate their Glycogen status, they are not full for a large majority of the day, this is very bad especially if they are coffee addicts and drink coffee 3 times a day on an empty stomach because of their lethargy, because coffee requires proper Glycogen stores otherwise you get a stress response like heightened Cortisol and Adrenaline (and down the line also increased Estradiol, these stress hormones can access "less available" Glycogen and utilise it, and they also convert muscle into Glucose and Amino-Acids). Unhealthy people often like to drink coffee on an empty stomach because of this exact sequence of events, their body produces stress hormones and they get less lethargic, at the cost of systematic health. Energy should come from proper Thyroid function and not stress hormones. As a sidenote, coffee in it of itself isnt bad, it's actually quite good and can lower Estrogen, decrease Iron overload (better if u are older, when u are younger u will not have problems with Iron overload), and has positive effects. But it should be drunk with a bit of sugar, milk and cream, or after a good meal
very effectively and your stores are probably empty in the morning because they get utilised during the night. Throughout the day I would eat sugar such as fruit juice (OJ), ripe fruits, good honey, milk (milk has good sugar content in the form of Lactose) and dates. If you do not have the budget for this, OJ (concentrate is fine too but it has to be 100% juice) and well-boiled potatoes are very good. Something to mention is that OJ has Potassium, and Potassium can act as Insulin in many ways, meaning it can put sugar into cells. So I suggest you eat it with your starch because it will lessen the Insulinogenic response.

Thx for the advice. I don't usually feel lethargic, unless I've eaten a particularly large meal, but I've been really tired these past few days despite getting 7+ hours of sleep. I do feel like I need to increase my carbohydrate intake, I've been completely skipping carbs every other meal. About the sugar-rich fruits and juices, should I avoid that if I start taking HGH, or will enough potassium stop me from debeloping diabetes? And what should I use on my hair instead of dut? I don't want my hairline to recede any further, but I also don't want to miss on any of my development due to low DHT.

Diet will be enough for preventing balding, see my posts on a similar thread I elaborate a bit there on this premise:

if I start taking HGH, or will enough potassium stop me from debeloping diabetes?
I've researched GH since I was 13 on lookism and it's the biggest cope of all.. u need expert knowledge of certain compounds to have actuall effects in height growth

Also, bare in mind I read in clinical settings they use bodybuilding doses of GH a day per just 1 inch of growth. It is not completely, effective, even with pharma grade and proper setting aimed for height growth lol...
And ull not even get real GH but bathwater from China
