A lot of people have talked about dutasteride for nose and how it can influence sebum production because it inhibits the 5-alpha reductase enzyme type 1 and type 2 making your nose look smaller.

Although I have not seen much evidence besides a og clavicular vid.

In theory it should work, sort of similar to isotret.

don't do it, accutane is 10x better to nuke sebum production

way less effective without a doubt. isotret is better for regulating oil production. dutasteride is more for hair and skin.

i just wrote this thread for an alternative because it has less sides than isotret.

ngl topical tretinoin at 0.1% can work even better than isotret in some cases because you have to cycle isotret or low dose it.

correct me if i’m wrong, but isotret would have to be cycled or micro dosed right? and it can come with a lot of sides like dryness which isn’t optimal during summertime especially if your going outside a lot and i heard it can mess with your growth

i wish taking isotret was as easy as tretinoin otherwise i’d take it im way too lazy to cycle ts

how do you cycle isotret?

idk if the nose slimming effects are permanent and idk if isotret is safe long term even when cycling so that’s why i recommend tretinoin.
